Italian FM holds phone talk with Iranian counterpart

TEHRAN, Nov. 22 (MNA) – Italy’s Foreign Minister Gentiloni Silveri conducted a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Zarif.

During the phone talk which was held on Monday evening, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Paolo Gentiloni Silveri and Iran’s Mohammad Javad Zarid mulled over bilateral ties between Tehran and Paris.

The two sides also exchanged views over regional issues in addition to certain issues of common interest.

Following the implementation on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which came after the nuclear deal between Iran and the 5+1 group of countries, numerous countries have been seeking to reinvigorate mutual politico-economic relations with Iran.
