ISIL suffers from internal split

TEHRAN, Oct. 21 (MNA) – Secretary of Iran's SNSC Ali Shamkhani said in addition to suffering from internal conflicts within itself, ISIL has developed wide discrepancies with other Takfiri groups.

“Takfiri terrorists in Iraq and Syria are in a state of failure and their supporters are after political tricks to cause delays in the process,” Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani told reporters.

The official pointed to certain comments made by US officials on Iran’s possible role in in a rocket attack on US warships in the Red Sea asserting “America’s allies in Yemen have been humiliated with consecutive defeats and attribute the failures to Iran as a means of projection and escaping from the heavy burden of responsibility for war crimes.”

Leader’s senior advisor went on to add that Iran would undoubtedly continue the path of backing the oppressed people and nations of the region and would fearlessly announce its direct support of governments and people if any.

Referring to Iran’s military support of Palestinian Resistance groups over recent years, Shamkhani said “the process has been explicitly stated by the highest-ranking authorities of the country and will continue in order to defend the oppressed Palestinian people and increase defensive abilities against attacks of Zionist regime.”

Shamkhani rejected some false accusations against the country raised by enemies noting that continuous improvement of national preparedness to deal with the conspiracy aimed at undermining the authority of the country remains as the unchangeable strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In another part of his speech, Ali Shamkhani, while referring to a series of successful operations in Aleppo and Mosul by the armies of Syria and Iraq, said ISIL has split in itself and against its self-proclaimed chief Abu Bakr Baghdadi as well as that wise differences have emerged between ISIL and other terrorist groups mainly rooted in opportunism and ambition.

“Identity and organizational crises of terrorists on the one hand and operational capabilities of the armed forces of Iraq and Syria on the other hand are clear manifestations of the realities of power equations inside the region,” stressed the official.

The member of Iran’s Expediency Council said creators of Takfiri forces and their trans-regional supporters have failed in destroying the Resistance front by exploiting terrorist groups; “following the disclosure of their outdated plots, supporters of terrorists are seeking ways to avoid their repetitive failures,” emphasized Shamkhani urging governments and people of the regional countries to be alert in this regard.

“At the end of the day, Resistance and strong people of Yemen, Iraq and Syria will come out victorious while the imported terrorism and their regional supporters will be subdued,” he concluded.
