The 52-page book, which is written for children and young adults, begins with a flashback to the sad events of the uprising of June 5, 1963.
“There are only two days left to commemorate June 5 once again in the year 1989. Less than 48 hours were left for Imam Khomeini to remember those sad days and the hardship his people went through on that day. But alas, fate had something else in store for the heart that beat for the world before that date,” reads part of the book.
What took place on the day of June 3, 1989 at Jamaran Hospital, the health condition of Imam Khomeini, and the worries of his devotees are all discussed in various sections of the book.
The death of Imam Khomeini and the heartbreaking farewell to the founder of the Islamic Republic are described in the chapters that follow.
