Yemeni source rejects Hezbollah, IRGC forces detention

TEHRAN, Feb. 17 (MNA) – A Yemeni insider source has rejected claims made in some media that Hezbollah and IRGC forces have been detained in Yemen.

Yemen’s former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi made claims for the first time that a number of Hezbollah and IRGC forces had been arrested by the forces loyal to him and Saudi Arabia, but were then released by Houthi's intervention.

Mehr News delved deep into the issue, contacting a credible source in the Yemeni intelligence system to find the reality. The source, speaking on condition of anonymity, rejected the media reports as baseless. He added that warring factions in Yemen had reached a tentative agreement on putting aside Mansour Hadi and his deputy Khaled Mahfoudh Bahah. “The claims made in this junction of time as a psychological proactive measure by Hadi,” he told Mehr News.
