Brig. Gen. Farzad Esmaili was quoted by the Base’s public relations office as saying that fighting and operational capabilities of the Air Defense Base had been in harmony with the ever-increasing pace of technological advancement globally; “with surveillance and exploration, the Base has launched radars extending the surveillance well beyond the national borders; in terms of engagement in battle and tracking, we are now in a place to claim to detect any threat in any altitude, which has been only possible relying in indigenous capabilities and trained human forces,” he told the meeting of the Air Base officials.
“The indigenous and integrated system of the Air Base is regularly watcheing country’s air space, with full capability to protect the air borders,” said the commander.
