Khosro Piri, Director General of Science, Research and Technology at Ministry's Office for Policymaking and Planning, told Mehr News correspondent on Tuesday that the international science and technology cooperation working group aims to focus its activities on policy-making and planning for international scientific interactions.
Noting the development of the country’s international scientific activities in the past few months, Piri added the working group would fund and support cooperation with other countries between universities and science and technology parks.
“The working group will also establish technology markets between universities and research centers at home and abroad,” he added.
The Iranian official further stressed that the working group will define and determine macro policies and frameworks in the field of scientific and technological cooperation.
