Iran, Kyrgyzstan ink 8 MoUs

TEHRAN, Sep. 05 (MNA) – Tehran and Bishkek signed eight Memorandums of Understanding in the presence of two countries' presidents in Cultural Complex of Sadabad on Saturday.

Following the official visit of Kyrgyz Presidnet Almazbek Atambayev and his meeting with Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani, the two countries signed various MoUs in fields of agriculture, extradition of prisoners, energy, transportation, media as well as consular, trade and diplomatic affairs.

The officials discussed the most important regional and international developments here on Saturday.

Atambayev arrived in Tehran on Friday evening at the official invitation of President Rouhani at the top of a high ranking political-economic delegation.

The three-day visit aims at evermore expansion of relations between the two countries.

Atambayev is scheduled to meet with a number of Iranian officials to explore ways to expand bilateral political, economic and cultural cooperation.
