Speaking to a China Central Television, Ali-Akbar Salehi who is currently on a visit to China at the top of a delegation, said nuclear deal can be called a historical agreement since it was achieved over a decade of intensive efforts to change the wave of the negative attitude in the West against the Iranian nuclear program.
He underlined that the agreement proves the righteousness and legitimacy of the Iranian nation.
The AEOI chief said that Iran has always been under sanctions after the Islamic Revolution, which has of course affected the Iranian economy, but they have never had the crippling effect as it has often been claimed by the West.
During the interview, the Chinese TV also asked questions on Iran-China relations.
Salehi pointed to Iran-China relations as "friends for good," arguing that the two countries' relations have been improving in various fields since a very long time ago and that trend will definitely continue.
