TEHRAN, July 14 (MNA) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani discusses situation in Gaza with Malian and Sudanese counterparts.

Iranian Parliament speaker talked separately to Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Mali Mr. Issaka Sidibe and Sudanese Parliament Speaker Fateh Ezzedin Mansour.

In his phone conversations, Ali Larijani urged an emergency meeting for the troika of Islamic Inter-Parliamentary Union (IIPU) over humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Larijani condemned the silence of international organizations and communities claiming support for human rights. He strongly condemned Israeli crimes in targeting mosques, hospitals and residential areas killing many civilians including women and children.

“All states and nations, particularly Muslim states, are responsible in regard to Israeli massacres and brutalities and should join hands to stop the Zionist regime,” Larijani was quoted as saying.

Larijani underlined the significance and responsibility of IIPU in opposing atrocities of Israel’s racist regime in Palestinian occupied territories and called for concrete measures by Islamic parliaments.
