TEHRAN, Apr. 09 (MNA) – Hormuzgan Border Guard Commander, Brigadier General Bahador Esmaili, reports that a vessel carrying narcotics has been seized in Iran’s southern waters.

The seized vessel was carrying 530 kilograms of opium in the waters of Bandar Abbas in southern Iran, Brigadier General Esmaili said on Tuesday.

The successful interception was made possible by the round-the-clock monitoring conducted by the border guards.
