TEHRAN, Dec. 9 (MNA) - President Mahmud Ahmadinejad said here on Saturday that the Palestinian government should support its people’s resistance to realize the Palestinian cause.

“The Palestinian government must not recognize the occupying Zionist regime and insist on its courageous policies,” Ahmadinejad told visiting Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyah.

Haniyah arrived in Tehran on Thursday for a four-day official visit.

The plots of the enemies of Islam to break the Palestinian people’s Islamic

resistance will come up against a wall, the president noted, adding that

Palestine is a inseparable part of the Islamic lands.

In a separate meeting with Haniyah on Saturday, Expediency Council Chairman Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani cautioned the Palestinian people to be wary of plots by Israel and the United States.

Rafsanjani praised the Palestinians as patient and faithful people who are determined to achieve victory against the Zionist regime.

Haniya presented a report of the latest developments in Palestine and thanked Iranian officials for supporting the Palestinians.
