TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) – The head of the Iranian Tailors Association emphasized the need for branding the country’s apparel industry and said that high-quality clothing made in Iran is exported to several countries.

Akbar Sedghi hailed the measures taken in the administration of President Ebrahim Raeisi in the field of provision of raw materials needed for the production of clothing and apparel.

With the increase in the quality of Iranian clothing production, the import of this product from neighboring Turkey has decreased and now Iranian-made clothing is exported to Turkey, he added.

Iranian clothing production requires branding, Sedghi stated.

The head of the association reiterated that Iran’s high-quality apparel is exported to different countries, including Russia, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and the United Arab Emirates.
