TEHRAN, Dec. 10 (MNA) – The Iranian grandmaster Mohammad Amin Tabatabaei and his Indian rival shared the spoils in the 2023 London Chess Classic.

In the eighth round of the competition, Tabatabaei, with a rating of 2692, drew with his Indian opponent Gukesh Dommaraju with a rating of 2720.

Previously, Tabatabaei drew with his American opponent Hans Niemann with a rating of 2667 and defeated his opponent from England Nikita Vitiugov with a rating of 2704.

Tabatabaei will face his opponent from France Jules Moussard in the final.

The 13th edition of the London Chess Classic is taking place on December 1-10 as a 10-player single round-robin with a classical time control.
