TEHRAN, Nov. 27 (MNA) – Israeli forces have shot dead four Palestinian teenagers in the occupied West Bank in several hours, the Defense for Children International – Palestine (DCIP) says.

DCIP said on Monday the teenagers were killed during an Israeli military raid in Jenin on Saturday evening.

The victims include 16-year-old Ahmad Mohammad Hamed Abu Al-Haija, 17-year-old Mahmoud Khaled Mahmoud Abu Al-Haija, and 14-year-old Ammar Mohammad Faisal Abu Al-Wafa.

Mohammad Riad Fathi Saleh Farhan, 15, was shot and killed by Israeli forces in the central city of Bireh, near Ramallah.

Ayed Abu Eqtaish, the Accountability Program Director at DCIP, said, “While there is a so-called truce with Palestinian armed groups in Gaza, Israeli forces continue to target and kill Palestinian children throughout the occupied West Bank with complete impunity.”

Meanwhile, Israeli forces have arrested nearly 3,200 Palestinians in the West Bank since the start of the war on Gaza. That’s according to the Palestinian Commission of Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs. The commission says the number of Palestinians being held in Israeli jails has surpassed 7,000. The figure includes 200 children.  Hundreds of the detainees are sick, with some of them being in need of urgent medical treatment.

The regime intensified its raids and arrest campaign across the West Bank after launching the Gaza war on October 7. Since then, nearly 340 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli settlers or troops across the occupied territories.
