TEHRAN, Oct. 24 (MNA) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi on Tuesday received the credentials of the new envoys of Thailand, Tunisia, Brazil, Slovenia and Saudi Arabia.

Iran voices readiness to boost ties with Thailand

"What has been displayed today in Iranian science and technology parks and knowledge-based complexes shows the fact that young Iranian scientists have created brilliant opportunities for progress from the sanctions," Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi said in a meeting with the Kingdom of Thailand's new Ambassador to Tehran Pichit Boonsud on Tuesday.

Thailand's new envoy also announced in this ceremony that his country's foreign policy is focused on the development of relations in order to provide mutual benefits and said, "As the ambassador of Thailand, I will use all my efforts to promote the friendly relations between the two countries to higher levels." 

Stating that the Islamic Republic of Iran has made significant progress and achievements in the scientific and knowledge-based fields, especially in the field of medicine and medical equipment production, he expressed hope that the Islamic Republic of Iran would be interested in exchanging its capabilities in the scientific and economic fields with Thailand.

Iran, Tunisia have serious will to develop political, economic relations

Speaking in the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia, Raeisi pointed out the serious will of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Tunisia in the development of political and economic relations.

"With the existing determination between the two countries, important steps will definitely be taken for the growth and development of relations between the two countries," he added.

The President appreciated the positions of the Tunisian government in diligently pursuing the rights of the Palestinian people, especially the decisive, humane, and Islamic positions of the President of this country in rejecting the normalization of relations with the usurping Zionist Regime and emphasizing the importance of the unity of Islamic countries in cutting the hands of the Arrogant from the Islamic world and securing the interests of Muslim nations, including the Palestinian nation.

"The sad tragedy and anti-human crimes that are taking place in Gaza these days by the Zionist Regime and with the direct support of the Americans are a source of shame for those countries that have gone towards normalizing relations with this racist and criminal regime," he said.

In this ceremony, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia also referred to the common religious and cultural ties between Iran and Tunisia and emphasized the serious will of his country to develop relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all sectors, especially increasing the level of commercial and economic relations.

Tehran-Riyadh ties effective in solving regional issues

Expanding the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia will be effective in developing and strengthening regional cooperation and solving the problems of the region and the Islamic world, President Raeisi.

Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi made the remarks in a meeting with Abdullah bin Saud Al-Anzi, the newly appointed Saudi Arabian ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Tuesday.

During this meeting, Resisi received the credentials of the Saudi Arabian envoy.

Raeisi also emphasized the necessity of efforts of the diplomatic apparatus of the two countries to strengthen mutually beneficial relations and ensure the interests of the nations of the region and the Islamic world.

Referring to crimes of the Zionist regime in Occupied Lands, Raeisi said that the unified position of the Islamic world could have prevented the oppression and aggression of the Zionist regime.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that the presence of foreigners in the region not only does not solve any problems but is itself a factor in aggravating the problems.

The relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia are very strong because the ties and commonalities between the two nations and countries are more than the differences between them, the Saudi Arabian ambassador said for his part.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has helped Saudi Arabia in many fields and issues, and I hope that we will witness the improvement and expansion of relations and cooperation between the two countries day by day," he added.

Iran economic, scientific capacities suitable for deepening ties with Slovenia

Speaking at the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new Ambassador of Slovenia, Ebrahim Raeisi described the level of relations between the two countries as good but insufficient in various sectors and emphasized the need to try to improve the level of interactions and develop relations between the two countries.

Referring to the failure of the enemies' efforts to stop Iran's progress, the President said, "Iran's extensive economic and scientific capacities are a suitable platform for developing relations and securing the interests of Iran and Slovenia, and the responsible institutions in the two countries must take advantage of these capacities and improve the level of relations".

The President also described the events of these days in Gaza as a crime against humanity and emphasized the responsibility of international organizations and institutions to prevent and stop these crimes.

Referring to the good relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Slovenia at the bilateral, regional, and international levels, the new Ambassador of Slovenia assured that during his term of responsibility, he would use the capacities of the two countries in the direction of improving the level of relations and strengthening cooperation at the international level.

Continuation of Israel crimes makes responsibility of int'l organisations heavier

Speaking in the meeting with the new Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Raeisi stated that extensive cooperation with the countries of the South American region is one of the main priorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and emphasized, "The level of relations and the value of trade exchanges between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Brazil should be further developed".

The President called the two countries' common view on bilateral, regional, and international issues the foundation for the convergence and cooperation of the two countries and emphasized the need for the joint cooperation commissions to be more active and to increase the commercial and economic interactions of the two countries.

Raeisi also mentioned the common positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Brazil regarding the Palestinian issue, the need for humanitarian aid, the pursuit of stopping the bombing of Gaza, the lifting of the blockade of this area, and the realization of the rights of the Palestinian nation as priorities and important demands in the UN Security Council and clarified, "The continuation of the Zionist Regime's crimes against the defenseless people of Gaza makes the responsibility of international organizations heavier".

The new Brazilian ambassador Ricardo Gradilone Neto, for his part, congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran on its membership in the BRICS, and assured that during his term of office, he would strive to improve the relations between the two countries to the highest level and to introduce as much of Iran's capabilities in his country as possible.
