TEHRAN, Oct. 18 (MNA) – Addressing the Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC) urgent meeting on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister called for cutting off relations with the Zionist regime, boycotting its products, and trying its war criminals.

Addressing the extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the OIC on Wednesday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that in order to support the Palestinian people, the Islamic Republic of Iran suggests that Islamic countries make coordinated efforts to stop the war crimes of the Zionist regime.

He also stressed that Islamic countries need to take action to open humanitarian aid corridors to Gaza.

The member states of the UN Security Council must request sanctions for the Israel regime, he said, adding that an urgent human rights meeting should be held to deal with the crimes of the Zionist regime.

The crimes of the Zionist regime must be stopped immediately. Islamic countries should cut off their relations with the Zionist regime and boycott its companies' goods, the Iranian top diplomat also said.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is based on the cause of Palestine and this issue must remain as first issue of the Islamic world, he noted.

Undoubtedly, the Al-Aqsa storm operation proved that the Palestinian issue is alive, he said that this operation proved that Palestine belongs to the Palestinians.

Expressing his condolences to the people and Resistance of Palestine due to the Zionist regime's attack on a hospital in Gaza, he said that the Zionist regime collapsed on Saturday, October 7, with the Resistance operation.

The United States is trying to revive the fallen Zionist regime through war against civilians, he said, adding that the United States is responsible for the regime's recent atrocities in Gaza.
