The Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi made the remarks at the 13th National Elite Conference on Monday.
According to Raeisi, the National Elite Foundation is a group created by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution with the aim of identifying, guiding, and supporting the elites.
One of the important characteristics of government officials and ministers is to pay attention to the elites and use elites in the direction of the country's progress.
Elites should know the issues of the country and participate in solving the problem, he noted.
Emphasizing that the elites are the great capital of the country, Raeisi said that this capital should be recognized.
Elites are national intellectuals who understand and observe the issues of society well, he said, adding that an intellectual is not someone who leads the society toward Western and Eastern culture but intellectuals must know the ways to get out of the social risks.
