Ghalibaf held separate phone conversations with his counterparts from Turkey, Algeria, Syria, UAE, Lebanon, Oman, and Kuwait, discussing the Israeli regime's crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Condemning the Israeli regime's atrocities against Gaza, especially Palestinian women and children, he urged his counterparts to pursue the rights of Palestinians at the international level.
The oppressive attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza should be stopped as soon as possible, and with the cooperation of Islamic countries, the conditions for sending humanitarian aid to the oppressed people of Gaza should be prepared, he said.
Ghalibaf also suggested holding a Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) meeting virtually to review practical solutions to help the Gaza people.
While welcoming Ghalibaf's proposal to hold the PUIC meeting, his counterparts emphasized the need to stop the barbaric attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza as soon as possible.
In recent days, in response to its military, security, and intelligence failure in the Palestinians' launched Al-Aqsa Storm Operation, the Zionist regime has targeted the residential and infrastructures in the Gaza Strip with brutal attacks using very powerful and advanced bombs and missiles.
According to the latest statistics, more than 1,200 Palestinians have been martyred in the Israeli regime's attrocities, including 330 children and more than 200 women.
