TEHRAN, May 24 (MNA) – Three Pakistani police forces were killed in a shootout with terrorists on Wednesday.

The terrorist targeted a Pakistani police checkpoint in South Waziristan District near the border with Afghanistan.

An armed terrorist was killed during the incident, according to local sources.

The incident came two days after on Monday, terrorists stormed a gas and oil extraction plant in northwest Pakistan, killing four policemen and two private security guards, Pakistani police said.
