Shamkhani holds meeting with Russian counterpart in Moscow

TEHRAN, Feb. 08 (MNA) – Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani met and held talks with his Russian counterpart Nikolai Patrushev in Moscow on Wednesday.

Shamkhani and Patrushev held the meeting on the sidelines of the fifth round of the regional security dialogue in the Russian capital of Moscow.

No details of their meeting have been published so far.

Earlier on Wednesday, Ali Shamkhani delivered a speech at the 2023 Moscow Format Consultations on Afghanistan and regional security.
