TEHRAN, Jan. 11 (MNA) – Nasser Kan'ani, the spokesman of the Iranian foreign ministry strongly condemned Wednesday's attack in front of the Afghan foreign ministry's compound.

The spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs offered his condolences and sympathies with the families of the deceased and prayed to God for a speedy recovery for those injured in the terrorist incident.

The local Afghan media have said that as many as 20 people were killed and 26 others were wounded in the blast in front of the Afghan foreign ministry's compound but the Taliban police of Kabul have put the death toll at five people.
