TEHRAN, Dec. 19 (MNA) – The border guard commander of Horrmozgan province in the south of Iran reported that a vessel carrying 475,000 liters of smuggled fuel was seized in the Persian Gulf.

General Bahador Esmaili made the announcement on Monday, saying that Hormozgan border guards managed to identify two fuel smuggling gangs intended to transfer the smuggled fuel to the Persian Gulf region.

According to the commander, the border guards confiscated 300,000 liters of diesel in Bandar Abbas and 175,000 liters in Minab.
