TEHRAN, May 22 (MNA) – Iran has offered condolences to Pakistan over a deadly passenger plane crash, which led to the injury and death of dozens of people.

In a message on Friday, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi expressed commiserations to the Pakistani nation and government and those struck by the tragic disaster.

A passenger plane with near 100 people on board crashed in a residential area in the Pakistani city of Karachi on Friday noon.

While dozens are feared dead, at least six wounded have been taken to a hospital, but yet to be confirmed if they are crash survivors.
