TEHRAN, Feb. 24 (MNA) – A .8-magnitude earthquake jolted the city of Ravar in the southern province of Kerman at 4:03 hours local time (00:33 GMT) on Monday.

According to Iran’s Seismological Center affiliated to the Institute of Geophysics of Tehran University, the quake’s epicenter was at 10km of depth.

The epicenter of the quake was located at 56.60 degrees longitude and 31.26 degrees latitude.

No casualties have been reported yet, while rescue teams have been immediately dispatched to the affected areas to assess the situation.
