TEHRAN, Feb. 13 (MNA) – Iran’s newly-appointed ambassador to Zagerb Parviz Esmaeili submitted his credentials to Emilia Vucinic-Margeta, Chief of Diplomatic Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, on Thursday.

During the meeting, they reviewed a host of issues on bilateral ties in the political, scientific, academic and cultural fields.

Esmaeli expressed hope that, as an ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, he could take effective steps in strengthening the relations between the two countries and two nations.

He also noted that the support of the Croatian government and president would be very effective in accomplishing these steps.
