TEHRAN, Feb. 09 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi expressed his deep regret over the deadly shooting in Thailand, which led to death and injury of a number of Thai citizens, and sympathized with the government and nation of this country and wished speedy recovery for the inured.

At least 20 people have been killed and many injured after a soldier went on a shooting rampage in a shopping centre in Thailand, according to local reports.

The gunman opened fire at Terminal 21 shopping mall on Saturday in the city of Korat, north-east of Bangkok.

Thai officials have ruled out ideological motives in the attack.
