ARDABIL, Dec. 29 (MNA) – The northwest province of Ardabil has been blanketed by snow in the first week of winter. Winters in the province are bitterly cold, with temperatures plummeting to −25 °C. The country's largest ski resort, Alvares, is also located in Ardabil.
