TEHRAN, Dec. 01 (MNA) – In a ceremony on Sat. in the presence of Commander of Iran's Army Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, domestically-made Sahand destroyer joined Iranian naval fleet at a base in port city of Bandar Abbas in the Persian Gulf. The Sahand destroyer is equipped with radar-evading stealth system and can go on voyages lasting five months without resupply. It is said to be the most advanced of a domestic destroyer in the West Asia region.
