TEHRAN, Nov. 20 (MNA) – Iran has been nominated for eight awards at Branson International Film Festival to be held on April 4-7 in the US.

'A Frame for Solitude', directed by Mahmoud Nazeri, for best short film award, 'Gonbad-e Giti', directed by Mahmoud Nazeri, for best documentary award, and 'A Pair Of Horns On A Female Homo Sapiens', directed by Saleh Kashefi, for short student film award. Mohammad Sarvari and Erfan Aref khani for their roles in 'Childhood Dream', directed by Hassan Najmabadi, as well as Naeim Shikh Mahmoudi and Hamed Nadri for their roles in 'Are You Volleyball?!', directed by Mohamamd Bakhshi, have been nominated for Best Young Actor/Actress in Film Award. 'Limit' directed by Javad Daraei has also been nominated for Best Teaser- Short films less than 10 minutes. 

Branson International Film Festival, originally Ozark Mountain Film Festival is designed to educate, equip and empower Independent Christian Filmmakers while celebrating their creative diversity At this time, it is the only faith-based film festival being hosted in the Missouri Region.
