TEHRAN, Jun. 17 (MNA) – Reports coming out from Yemen say that the Saudi and UAE-led Coalition’ fighter jets are bombing the Hudaida airport and its neighborhood, exacerbating a humanitarian crisis.

According to Yemeni al-Masirah TV, the Saudi and UAE-led Coalition have intensified their attacks on the port city of Hudaida and have so far killed and wounded many innocent people, including women and children.

This new assault comes a day after the Saudi and UAE-led Coalition claimed that they had captured the Hudaida airport from the Ansarullah movement, but their claim was soon rejected by the Yemeni forces.

Ansarullah movement spokesman Mohammed Abdul-Salam dismissed the Saudi-led Coalition’s claim in an interview with al-Mayadeen TV yesterday, saying that the aggression would undermine chances for a peaceful settlement and could ignite a humanitarian crisis.

Abdul-Salam told al-Mayadeen that there was no single Iranian soldier among their ranks, while Yemeni forces were fighting armies of Saudi Arabia, UAE and Sudan in Yemen’s Hudaida.
