TEHRAN, Dec. 24 (MNA) – Head of Chief of Staff of Armed Force Major General Bagheri said that enemies are always trying to sabotage the development path of Islamic world.

Pointing to a plot waged by Takfiri groups against the Islamic world, he said “plot orchestrated by Takfiri groups had not been terminated that they put forward disintegration of Iraqi Kurdistan region.”

Speaking in a local ceremony to honor top researchers of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), held at Imam Hossein University, said “Secretary General of Lebanese Resistance Movement Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah was the most popular personality in the Islamic world after 33-day war occurred between Israel and Lebanon but unfortunately, his popularity rating was declined after some years with a rift occurred between Shia and Sunni.”

Regarding plots waged against the Islamic Revolution, he said “after the Islamic Revolution, the enemy felt backwardness and orchestrated several conspiracies and plots, the most important of which can be referred to invading Iran in the battlefront.”

However, enemy managed to materialize its malicious objectives and formed security and military invasion, the outcome of which was the eight years of Sacred Defense waged against the Islamic Republic of Iran in the battlefield, he stressed.

Relying upon the assistance of the Almighty God, brave combatants of Islamic Iran managed to gain historic victory against Iraqi forces in the battlefield and came out victorious, he said, adding, “After termination of Eight Years of Sacred Defense, enemies left no stone unturned in order to damage true image of Islamic Iran as well as creating rift between Shia and Sunni communities.”

Elsewhere in his remarks, head of Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces pointed to a 33-day war between Lebanon and Israel and said “after outbreak of 33-day war, Secretary General of Lebanese Resistance Movement Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah was the top and most famous personality in the Islamic and Arabic world but then, his popularity rating was declined as a result of rift occurred between Shia and Sunni communities.”

Spread of such a way exists in all human, medical, technical and industrial fields, he said, adding, “the noble nation of Iran owes their security and development to the strategic deterrence.”

Leader of the Islamic Revolution paid due attention to the practical strength and power as a superiority key, he said, adding, “issue of knowledge sharing, software movement, lack of respect to the culture of translation of other sources, attention of senior officials to the creative ideas, Jihadi struggle to become the pole of science and technology, etc. are only part of the keywords of the leadership in this regard.”
