TEHRAN, Nov. 11 (MNA) – Gholamreza Akrami, the President of Iran’s Art University recounted the agreements he reached with German and Austrian universities during his visit to the two countries.

“Several MoUs (Memoranda of Understanding) were signed between Iran’s Art University and German and Austrian universities visited in this trip,” said Gholamreza Akrami, the President of Iran’s Art University on Saturday, recounting the achievements of his visit to Germany and Austria.

“During the visit to Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts we conferred on joint cooperation in areas of professor, researcher and students exchange,” said the Iranian academic figure. “We also agreed on joint performances and establishing joint courses with professors from both Iran and Germany,” he added.

The Iranian academician recounted that the officials of the German university will soon travel to Iran for furthering talks on bilateral relations between the two universities. The two universities are also expected to sign agreements on cultural, scientific, and artistic areas.

During his visit to the universities of Germany and Austria, Mr. Akrami also met and held talks with the officials of Film University of Babelsberg, Bauhaus Art School, and Franz Liszt Academy of Music.
