The commander made the remarks on Monday morning while addressing a National Conference on Passive Defense underway in Tehran.
Pointing to recent anti-Iran statements by the US Brig. Gen. Jalali said breach of promise in JCPOA and seeking excuses for visiting Iran’s military and missile centers all indicate to a new American strategy to oppose the Islamic Revolution.
“In a bid to counter expansion of Iran’s influence inside the region, the US is supporting the ISIL and, at the same time, declares that Iran’s actions are causing insecurity in the region.”
The official went on to underlined that enemies of the Islamic Revolution have chosen and officially announced three strategies of economic war, people-centered threats and cyber attacks.

Referring to new Senate sanctions against Iran, the commander said the new bill covers IRGC and all companies associated with it including Khatam al-Anbiya Construction Headquarter which has provided many services to the Iranian nation and government. Banks working with IRGC have been also put on the sanctions list which is a dangerous move.
Brig. Gen. stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran should respond to new sanctions and threats in order to prevent implementation of new sanctions.
“In the field of economic threats, which forms the main platform for US strategy’s fight against Iran, we need to put Resistance Economy high on agenda of the country so that the enemy fails to create a social crisis for the country by boycotting a commodity,” he said.
The official later touched upon cyber threats explaining “cyber threats can create very serious problems given the changes in infrastructure of the country and require careful security considerations.”
