TEHRAN, Aug. 27 (MNA) – Obama's secretary of energy says possible Trump withdrawing from Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) would be a very bad decision.

In an interview with Bloomberg, Moniz warned about possible Trump withdrawing from JCPOA and said this would lead to the US isolation.

"have things turned out as you hoped?", answering this questoin at the second annivversary of JCPOA, Moniz said," They have, in the sense that the IAEA continues to provide the data that indicate full compliance. That is where I hoped we would be and are. But we are not there in terms of a lot of the political discussion, particularly in terms of the possibility of Trump withdrawing, which would be a very bad decision. It would ironically isolate the U.S. Because as long as Iran complies, the Europeans and others will continue to deal with Iran, but it will have justification for wriggling out of one or more of the stipulations."

Ernest Moniz, a nuclear scientist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who most recently served as President Barack Obama's secretary of energy, is now the Chief Executive Officer of NTI.
