International companies which had signed MoUs to study oil fields in Iran are gradually submitting their surveys.
For Changouleh Oil Field, in western province of Ilam, several foreign companies had signed MoUs with Iran and on August 12, 2017 Norwegian DNO Company submitted its survey to Iran.
Gazprom and Thai companies also submitted their survey results on Sunday evening.
NIOC is to begin technical consideration of the three submitted surveys soon and then it will take decision on tender for this oil field in the framework of the new oil model contracts.
Changuleh oil field is located 80 kilometers northwest of Dehloran city and situated at northwest part of North Dezful basin in Lorestan province. Discovered in 1999 but never developed, it is estimated to hold more than 2 billion barrels of oil-in-place.
