TEHRAN, Jun. 25 (MNA) – In a message, the Iranian President congratulated Eid al-Fitr to all Muslims in the world, the Iranian nation in particular.

In his message, in addition to hailing arrival of Eid al-Fitr which is celebrated at the end of fasting month of Ramadan, President Hassan Rouhani appreciated Islamic community’s attendance in Quds Day rallies which honored legitimacy of the oppressed nations of the region, liberation of Quds al-Sharif and condemned Takfiri terrorism.

“The virtuous month of Ramadan has always been an opportunity to cultivate as well as to purify the body and soul from all sorts of false deeds. Pioneers of this luminous path, with deliberate neglect of food and avoidance of sin, find merit in attending the divine feast,” Rouhani’s congratulatory message reads.

Eid al-Fitr marks a glorious crystallization the excellent month of Ramadan which gives hope to human beings who have breezed past the dark night of selfishness and reached the morning moderation and rationally by overcoming sensual tendencies.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran also wrote in his letter “enlightening the foundations of justice, reason, and peace in Islamic thought is the responsibility of Muslim intellectuals.”

“I feel obliged to appreciate the Islamic community’s massive, integrated turnout in the International Quds Day march, sending their message of supporting the legitimacy of the oppressed peoples of the region, the freedom of Quds and condemnation of Takfiri terrorism clearly,” Dr. Rouhani reiterated.
