TEHRAN, Jun. 19 (MNA) – Parliament's General Director for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said the recent deadly terrorist attacks in Tehran have been carried out by the request of Saudi Arabia’s security services.

Amir-Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to Iran Nguyen Hong Thach on Sunday, during which the two sides discussed bilateral issues and parliamentary ties.

Welcoming the expansion of ties between Tehran and Hanoi, Amir-Abdollahian said the two countries hold positive historical relations which are highly regarded.

He noted the importance of parliamentary commutes between the two countries, saying parliamentary visits and talks are important and Iran's Parliament is ready to host the Vietnamese parliamentary delegation at any level.

Pointing to the recent terrorist attacks in Tehran, he added the existing documents are proof of the continued manipulatory role of US and Saudi Arabia’s in spreading terrorism in the region and the world.

“Their strategy and policy is to draw out regional crises in order to carry out their own agendas such as arms sales,” Amir-Abdollahian noted.

Pointing to the Zionist-American plots to increase crisis in the region, Amir-Abdollahian said their approach is to prolong the crisis in the region to implement their objectives, including arms sales in the region.

He noted that Saudi relations with Israel would face the country with irreparable harms.

Nguyen Hong Thach, for his part, pointed to the readiness of Vietnam's government and parliament to strengthen relations between the two countries, adding Vietnam is keen to expand parliamentary relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and in this regard, will keep any chance including the use of parliamentary capacity.

He explained Vietnam's stance on regional and international developments and underlined the political solution to the crisis in the global level calling US behavior unpredictable in recent months.
