TEHRAN, Jun. 08 (MNA) – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif discussed regional issues with Turkish president and FM on Wednesday in Ankara.

His meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan focused on tensions in the region particularly Qatar and Syria as well as Tehran-Ankara ties.

With his Turkish counterpart, Mevlut Cavusoglu, Zarif discussed bilateral ties including the joint economic commission, increasing banking ties, exchange of delegations in different levels and Iran’s participation in Energy Summint.

Regional issues and the importance of Astana Process were also discussed by Zarif and Cavusoglu.
