Organized by the Georgian National Wrestling Federation, the tournament will convene on June 10-11, 2017 in Tbilisi.
Tbilisi Spots Palace will host wrestlers from across the world who will compete for medals in addition to diploma and prize money.
Lead by Ali Ashkani as the head coach and Morteza Papinia as coach, the Irnain Greco-Roman squad comprises Mosayeb Akbari (59kg), Payam Boyeri (75kg), Mehdi Ebrahimi (80kg), Saman Azizi (85kg), Amirhossein Hosseini (98kg) as well as Amir Ghasemi Monjazi (130kg).
Meanwhile, in the freestyle division, Iran’s hopes are pinned on Jamal Ebadi (70kg), Omid Hassantabar (74kg), Mohammad Javad Ebrahimi (86kg), Mojtaba Galij (97kg) and Amirreza Amiri (125kg) who are accompanied by Mohammad Talaei and Amir Tavakolian as coaches.
