Following consultations with International Telecommunication Union (ITU), Iran has been granted the right to hold a workshop of Asia-Pacific region on the Internet of Things designed for ICT experts and directors in the region.
The workshop will be attended by ITU professors and chairman of the study group for Internet of Things and smart cities as well as Iranian instructors.
A steering committee has been formed in the Iranian Faculty of Applied Science of Post and Telecommunication in order to optimize use of the workshop and to include views of industry, regulatory and academic sectors. By taking into account the viewpoints of various sectors the suggested titles by ITU have been modified or revised.
The workshop will kick off on July 08 in Tehran and will last for four days. Those interested in taking part at the regional workshop of the Internet of Things (IOT) are required to visit the website of Faculty of ICT as a subsidiary of the Iranian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.
ITU is the United Nations specialized agency for information and communication technologies – ICTs.
