TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) – Mehdi Fard Ghaderi’s feature film ‘Immortality’ will represent Iran at Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF).

Immortality is Fard Ghaderi's first feature movie that displays events occurring in a rainy night in the train. The film is the story of six different families on different wagons of a train, gradually unfolding to the audience.

The 145-minute plan sequence film enjoyed last year its first international screening in Italy, Rome Film Festival, following the attendance of Mehdi Fard Ghadeir, the director, and casts Anna Nemati, Maral Farjad, Atabak Naderi and Sana Norouzbeigi on the red carpet.

Transilvania IFF has grown rapidly to become the most important film-related event in Romania and one of the most spectacular annual events in the region. It is a member of the Alliance of Central and Eastern European Film Festivals (CENTEAST) and it is supported by the Creative Europe - MEDIA Programme. In 2011, Transilvania IFF was accredited by the FIAPF, which places it among the 40 most important festivals in the world.
