TEHRAN, Mar. 27 (MNA) – Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri left Tehran on Monday for a two day visit to Tunisia and Algeria.

Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri left Tehran early on Monday for a two-day visit to Tunisia and Algeria. According to the communiqué issued by Iran's Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mr. Salehi will sign some memoranda of understanding, in different areas of cultural interests including in Cinematic cooperation, in his meeting with his Algerian counterpart.

Salehi Amiri will also meet some high-ranking officials of the two countries during his stay in the two capitals mainly with the objective to broaden cultural cooperation.

Attending the international book fair, participating at the opening ceremony of the Iranian Cinema Week in Tunisia, and meeting with senior officials of Tunisia are some of the objectives of Salehi's visit to Tunisia outlined in the communiqué.
