“The Islamic Republic of Iran, as a serious pioneer of fight against terrorism in all its forms believes that as long as we witness ineffective, inefficient, and decorative alliances in war against terrorism in the international and regional arenas and the double-standard behavior of western countries in fighting this horrendous and inhumane phenomenon, no country can describe itself as safe from terror and terrorists,” affirmed Ghasemi on Thursday in a statement condemning the terrorist attack to London.
The spokesman invited, on the behalf of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran, all countries to join an ‘honest and worldwide’ measure against terrorism to form a ‘real alliance’ of serious wills to counter terrorism.
“Today terrorism knows no border or geography, and to eradicate such sinister phenomenon of hatred, the vessels of arms and equipment flow to terrorists should be dried,” affirmed the Iranian diplomat adding “material and non-material support to the countries and groups which spread the ideologies of Takfirism and Wahhabism should be cut.”
In a terrorist attack to London on Wednesday, 5 people were killed and around 45 were injured.
