TEHRAN, Feb. 19 (MNA) – The Iranian capital will host United World Wrestling’s Advanced Clinic for Greco-Roman wrestling coaches on March 18-20.

The Advanced Clinic event, which aims to launch a new era for coach education in wrestling, will follow the 2017 Greco-Roman World Cup to be competed in the Iranian city of Abadan from March 16-17.

The Iranian Wrestling Federation will host the three-day clinic at the National Olympic Academy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran inviting more than 30 coaches from 12 countries to take part in classroom discussions and on-the-mat instruction.

The aim of the clinic is to help coaches implement more high-scoring techniques through improved training techniques and performance analysis.

Recent studies conducted by United World Wrestling have shown that the wrestlers with the most diverse arsenal of techniques were more successful than those with a limited number of techniques.
