TEHRAN, Dec. 21 (MNA) – Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran Rahimpour said assassination of Russian ambassador to Turkey would not make a dent in Terhan-Moscow joint efforts.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia-Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour, who made presence in Russia’s Embassy in Tehran to sign the memorial book for Russian Ambassador to Ankara Andrey Karlov, extended his heartfelt condolences over the bitter incident.

“Undoubtedly, the assassination will not weaken joint efforts made by Iran and Russia in the battle against the scourge of terrorism inside the region,” he underlined.

Russia’s ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov was shot dead by an assassin on Monday at an art gallery in Ankara.
