TEHRAN, Dec. 13 (MNA) – The first Russian-Iranian business forum will take place on Tuesday in Tehran.

The forum, organized by Russian Roscongress Foundation and aimed at facilitating intergovernmental and business links between the two countries, will coincide with the 13th meeting of the Russian-Iranian Permanent Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.

The sides are expected to discuss development of economic and investment cooperation, strengthening ties in industry and technology, cooperation in various spheres, for instance, in energy and agricultural sector.

Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Zanganeh and Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak have begun their meeting behind closed door this morning.
