TEHRAN, Dec. 05 (MNA) – Iranian film ‘Inversion’ directed and written by Behnam Behzadi will go on screen at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in India.

Experiencing its 6th international presence, Inversion will be displayed in one of the most important events in India being held for 20 years.

The movie winning recently the Best Film Award at the MedFilm Festival in Italy was screened at the Un Certain Regard section at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, 24th Filmfest Hamburg in Germany and 9th Jaipur International Film Festival.

The drama centers around a woman, Niloofar (played by Sahar Dolatshahi), who decides to take charge and find ways to better express herself in the smog-teeming metropolis of Tehran.

IFFK is a film festival held annually in Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala, India. The festival kicked off in 1996 and is held in November/December every year and is acknowledged as one of the leading such events in India. Several national and international films have their premiers at the IFFK each year.
