TEHRAN, Dec. 01 (MNA) – Owlia Alibeigi, an Iranian activist of labor community rights, says Iranian labor minister is to attend the 16th Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting of ILO in Indonesia.

Owlia Alibeigi, the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran at International Labour Organization (ILO) told the local media that Iranian delegates representing workers, employers and government will attend the16th ILO Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting.

The official of the High Coordinating Centre for Islamic Labour Councils recounted that the 16th Asia and the Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM) on labor issue will be held in Indonesia's Bali from December 6 to 9.

“The issues of the labor community in Asia Pacific are discussed in the quadrennial event hosted by the member states,” articulated the Iranian official, “currently 185 countries of the world are members of the organization while Iran was one of the first 50 states that became a member of the organization.”

Alibeigi highlighted that Iranian labor minister will head the government delegate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the 16th Asia Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM), while Fatemeh Daneshvar will head the employers’ delegate and Alibeigi will head the workers’ delegate.
