TEHRAN, Nov. 21 (MNA) – Slovenian President Borut Pahor has arrived in Tehran and received by Minister of Energy Hamid Chitchian Monday evening.

Pahor’s visit seeks to hold a number of economic and political meetings with Iranian high-ranking officials. His visit was foreshadowed by the country’s deputy-Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Karl Erjavec who in remarks had told reporters that Slovenian embassy would open in Tehran in upcoming month of December.

In a related story, Mrs. Darja Bavdaž Kuret, State Secretary met with Javad Zarif earlier in November and had said President Pahor’s visit would culminate in opening of the country’s embassy in Tehran.
