“The US intended to discredit Iran on regional and resistance issues after the JCPOA to convert its lost game in Syria and the region to a victory for the White House,” said Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Director General of Iran's Paeliament for International Affairs, on Thursday, “but the Leader’s timely warning exposed and foiled the Americans’ plot calling for talks on regional issues.”
The senior diplomat reiterated that the distrust toward the US is at the highest level of all times while the regional policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran not only guarantee the regional security but contributes to global security.
